Cause:

A detection error in the Yellow, Magenta, and Cyan (YMC) link sensor.

Component Replacement:

If electrical and mechanical checks fail, sequential replacement of the Drive Assembly , Drive PWB , and finally the ESS PWB may be required to resolve the fault. Xerox Fault Code 043-343

The logic flow is as follows:

• When caused by contamination, cable seating, or encoder misalignment, the code is usually repairable on-site with minimal cost.
• If caused by a failed image sensor or main board fault, repair cost can be higher; for older units, replacement may be more economical.
