The illusion is exactly that—an illusion. Analyzing RCTD-444 requires separating the narrative fiction of the video from the behind-the-scenes reality of its production. It is a highly choreographed piece of improvisational theater designed to look like a security leak.

- Design and Simulation: The design and simulation phase of the project is complete. The team developed a detailed model of the TES system using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA). The simulations demonstrated the system's potential for high thermal energy storage density, fast charging/discharging rates, and long-term durability.
- Prototype Development: A small-scale prototype of the TES system was fabricated and tested. The prototype consisted of a cylindrical vessel filled with the proprietary PCM, a heat exchanger, and a control system. The testing results showed promising performance, with a thermal energy storage capacity of 50 kWh/m³ and a charging/discharging rate of 10 kW.
- Materials Development: The team developed and tested several PCM formulations with improved thermal properties, such as higher latent heat of fusion, thermal conductivity, and stability. The new PCMs demonstrated enhanced performance and longer lifespan compared to existing materials.
