1. Check if the paper cover is closed tightly. Most thermal printers have a sensor that prevents printing if the lid is ajar.
2. Unplug the USB and plug it into a different port. Sometimes Windows assigns a new port number (USB002 instead of USB001) but doesn't update the driver settings. Go back to Printer Properties > Ports and ensure the new port is ticked.
