• Open only needed ports (default 12000 for newcamd or custom).
• Bind network servers to specific IPs with the device field to avoid listening on all interfaces.
• Use VPN or private network segments for remote clients — don’t expose OSCam directly to the internet.

Use different group numbers for local cards and proxies to troubleshoot faster.
