Dual Focus Capability

: When paired with HQ-series endoscopes (like the CF-HQ290L/I), the CV-290 allows clinicians to switch between "near mode" for detailed mucosal observation and "normal mode" for standard viewing at the touch of a button.

Blurry/Foggy View

Check HD-SDI or DVI connections; ensure monitor is on the correct channel. Distal lens condensation or smudging.

1. Power On: Press the main switch (I) on the rear. Wait 60 seconds for the lamp to stabilize.
2. Leak Test: Mandatory – Connect the scope to the processor, perform the automated leak test (button on front panel). Never insert a scope that fails the test.
3. White Balance: With the scope tip in air (no patient), point at a sterile white gauze 10mm away. Press the White Balance button on the front panel. Wait for "WB OK" on screen.

• No modification: Do not use third-party light guides or adapters. They can cause overheating and fire.
• Patient contact: The scope tip temperature must remain <41°C (105.8°F). If the processor alarms "Overheat", withdraw scope immediately.
• Electromagnetic interference: Keep at least 2 meters from MRI, diathermy units, or large motors.

Image Modes:

Contrast settings including Normal (N), High (H), and Low (L) modes to optimize visualization of dark or bright areas.
