1. Powering on: Connect the keyboard to a power source using the included adapter or batteries. Press the power button to turn it on.
2. Adjusting the volume: Use the volume control knob to set the desired level.
3. Selecting a voice: Browse through the 256 voices using the voice button and navigation arrows.

Solution:

This is a polarity issue. The M5468 expects a "Normally Open" pedal. If you are using a "Normally Closed" pedal (like a Yamaha), turn the keyboard OFF, hold the SUSTAIN button, and turn it ON. This flips the polarity. m5468 electronic keyboard manual
