- Head Cleaning: A more powerful cleaning cycle than the standard driver option.
- Ink Charge: To prime the ink lines after installation.
- Paper Feed Adjustment: To correct paper alignment issues.
- ID and EEPROM Data Reading: For advanced diagnostics.
- Use adjustment tool to run initial ink charge and head alignment.
- Print test patterns and tweak alignment offsets until banding disappears.
- Turn off the L395 using the power button.
- Unplug the power cable for 10 seconds.
- Hold down the Stop button (red triangle inside a circle) and the Power button simultaneously.
- While holding Power, release Stop.
- Tap the Stop button 6 times (or 5 times depending on firmware; listen for a beep after the 5th or 6th tap).
- Release Power. If the screen shows “Initializing” or stays dark but the light is solid, you are in Service Mode.
